Native Instrument’s Massive has grown to become one of the most popular soft synths in existence. With its complex modulation capabilities, it became famous for warbling bass and lead lines, evolving and morphing over time. While it may have been the go-to synth for dubstep and EDM tones, it’s capable of so much more and in a new video series taken from Point Blank’s Sound Design module on their online Diploma courses, instructor Chris Carter shows you what Massive can do.
Part 1 Covers filtering & modulation.
Part 2 Dives into wave table synthesis
Part 3 Explores using multiple oscillators and the FX section in Massive
