Atlanta-based DJ/Producer Popeska shared his new project Vedado, which comprises of him and one of his closest companions, vocalist/guitarist Matt Petters. The pair’s name originates from the road they lived on when they were flat mates in a little loft on Vedado Way where they began building music together. A year later, “Messing Around,” is already here with substantial support right out of the gate.
Their sound can be depicted as unique, but electronic-based, and between 120-126 bpm with an emphasis on strong percussion work, lavish synths, and strong effects.
With a DIY approach, the the two have pour much effort into the new project, which it now finally unfolding. Given the experience of both parties, the unique themes in the music and brand, and the all around vibe, Vedado feels like it’s coming into season.
