Hard hitting electro-house producer Porter Robinson will be spending his summer in Europe. The young producer won’t be backpacking or taking trains around from country to country though, Porter’s tour includes some of the biggest clubs throughout all of Europe. Some of the premiere destinations include Ultra Music Festival in Croatia, Tomorrowland in Belgium and Ushuaia in Ibiza.
Being able to tour throughout Europe twice in as many years is a testament to Porter Robinson’s global appeal. What’s remarkable though is how his relentless pursuit to push his productions and live dj sets further has been purely art driven. Porter is always tweeting about how he wants to be remembered as a musician first and that’s what we’ve found so far from his career.
While I don’t have any inside information, one can assume that he gets an enormous amount of offers for collaborations or endorsement deals and has thus far refused. We hope he continues this approach.
Not that it matters in Europe or even America for that matter, but Porter will be turning 21 on July 15 and doesn’t have anything scheduled for that day. Maybe we’ll see a surprise party / set somewhere?
