Early last week Porter Robinson released the “Worlds” tour announcement video and today, via his newsletter, he shared with us the official dates. From the flyer above it can be seen that this North American tour will host forty stops throughout August, September and October. Robinson and tour partner Lemaitre will be touching down in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington and Miami, to name a few locations. He’ll be hitting world-class venues such as Terminal 5, 930 Club, House of Blues and Fillmore.
It’s important to remember that this tour will be like non-other. It will offer a new experience to music lovers and we’re excited to see what Porter is going to bring to the table. It has been rumored that his production will offer outstanding light displays alongside unique, anime driven visual adventures. The music on the other hand will obviously focus on his forthcoming album along with live trigger sampling and multitrack channels. This will be less of a “DJ set” and more of an experience.
If you pre-order the “Worlds” collector’s edition you’ll be able to access tickets before they go on sale. You’ll get a code sent to you and on Tuesday, May 20th, at 10:00 AM (your local time) you’ll be able to purchase a ticket.
