Week 30’s Powerful Picks consists of both original tracks and remixes that cover a spectrum of genres, but many of these tracks can be described as ethereal, pop-ish, and mostly fun. We also have some awesome bass tracks on here for you bassheads, and future-genres also make their way on here this week as they continue their rise. Let us know what Powerful Picks you guys are feeling!
Sterling Fox – Freak Caroline (ALMOND & SAMME Remix)
Almond is always pairing with sick new artists to produce sounds that know no boundaries. This time, Almond and Samme, dropped an infectious pop remix, adding a light and feathery backdrop to the Sterling Fox original. This single is actually available for purchase or free download, the choice is yours!

Rihanna – Bitch Better Have My Money (BUSTED By Herobust)
The BUSTED series, which was played a big part in Herobust claiming his fame, is back with one of the most experimental sounding additions to the series yet. “Bitch Better Have My Money (BUSTED By Herobust)” throws together well-timed bass production with wildly mutilated Rihanna vocals, making it a blast to listen to.

Alesso ft. Roy English – Cool (Autograf Remix)
The fast rising duo Autograf have dished out a soulful masterpiece that’ll easily make your favorites playlist. The sun-kissed single delivers a warm-hearted theme fused with passionate Roy English vocals, hard not to love.
Aaron Jackson Ft J.A.M.O.N .- Vows
He may be new to the scene, but Aaron Jackson has alot to offer. Aaron Jackson’s seductive single “Vows,” takes deep house in a more traditional direction but contains the right energy at the right time, making it possible to enjoy “Vows” again and again.
Slander & NGHTMRE- You (Quix Remix)
Weird and wobbly is what you’ll get with Quix’s remix of two next-gen DJ’s Slander and Nghtmre. The “You” remixes adds luscious background effects with a unique drop to form an all-around trippy experience.
Khurt – Walker Texas Flanger
Adapted Records is my my go-to label for sick bass music with a southern twist. Earlier this year, Adapted Records dropped ‘Tramp” from unknown up-and-comer Thomas Vent, which included the same southern-rock spark as Khurt’s “Walk Texas Flanger,” both tracks are euphorically fun, culturally refreshing, and showcase the beauty of what traditional and electronic can do together.
Republic In Pieces – Unity
The Turkey-based DJ RIP is back with another politically fueled single entitled “Unity.” The single is a tease of their new EP Distress set to release May 1st.
HXV – Vultures (feat. Ricky Remedy & Debroka)
HXV, otherwise known as Heroes X Villians brings it all with this one. The title of this track couldn’t be more fitting. This bass heavy track is filthy and even menacing. It’s as if an army of vultures are flying around, waiting to invade your ears and brain – which they are quite successful at, I must say. This is dark, gritty, an invasive in the best, bassiest way possible.
Rich Edwards – We Are (feat. Dankya Nadeu)
Dankya Nadeu provides beautiful vocals for this uplifting, progressive tune. Coupled with a powersurge of electro synths and some fun chords, these two members of the Monstercat family tree have created a beautiful, rousing, and happiness-inducing track!
Just A Gent- Limelight ft. R O S E Z (NGHTMRE Remix)
NGHTMARE remixes to Limelight and gives the record a completely new sound and feel – and simply: it is brilliant. It certainly feels even more heavenly than the originally a la the “heaven trap” NGHTMRE and Slander have pioneered.
Major Lazer & DJ Snake – Lean On feat. MØ (Prince Fox Bootleg)
Prince Fox remixes this Major Lazer tune into a future bass track in honor of reaching 25,000 Facebook likes. With added depth, and added bass, this track is better than the original! Prince Fox is continuing to pave ways in the future bass genre, and he’s becoming one of my favorites. Keep your eyes out for him!
PatrickReza & Maya Payne – If Only (Remix)
PatrickReza has turned out an awesome future house remix of “If Only” with vocalist Maya Payne. The production is clean and crisp, and the vibe and vocals are easy going and breezy.
BTOYL – Ice Cream Truck Left (Original Mix)
The Cali-based soloist is serving up a yummy bounce / trance / electro hybrid named “Ice Cream Truck Left.” The pretty simplistic single is a flat-out fun track that’ll make it easy to bounce around a bit. Scoop the free download today.
