The EP marks the moment where are all “but did they do anything good after #Selfie?” criticisms are destroyed in the dust of these indie-pop / dance crossovers. The Chainsmokers are also embarking on a 40+ city tour, starting this week. It’s amazing how fast things change.
KSHMR & Bassjackers Ft. Sirah – Memories (Snøwmass Remix)
Snøwmass, now picking up traction in major cities like Chicago, has made something I haven’t heard in a while. “Memories (Snøwmass Remix)” is a very original take on the heavy-hitting electro-house sound we’ve heard for years. It’s nice to see a new-ish take on the track, something I wish I heard more of.
Brig – Double Time
Famous for mixing ultra-heavy bass with any genre he fucking feels like, Brig has dropped “Double Time,” a track showcasing the many moods, tempos, and genres Brig can throw into a single song.
Herobust – Dirty Work
Wow. Herobust making serious moves with his latest release “Dirty Work.” Herobust has been on a steady climb to thr upper trap echelons in 2015, now the top of 2016 will bring an complete EP from the ATL solo producer, release on Diplo’s label Mad Decent. Father of Chrome & Macrohard – Somer Salt (Original Mix)
Any DC fans our here? “Somer Salt,” hits with that classic Moombahton feel we all know and love. Up-and-comers Father of Chrome and Macrohard have pieced together steady basslines and pleasing atmospherics that pull “Somer Salt,” together.

One phrase came to mind after hearing “Karma,” created by TPA and south-Korean based DJ/producer Y.U.P, “eclectic.” “Karma” is just fun, 8-bit sounds, bass, face-melting drops, what more do you need?
Apashe – Tank Girls EP
After dropping singles here and there, Apashe release Tank Girls EP, which features two tracks, both conveying trap-influenced, bass heavy vibes throughout. Each tune carries it’s own weight and originality, but remain relatable and make for good bangers to drop mid-set.
Au5 – Guardians (feat. Fiora)
Following up on his “Atlantis” hit, “Guardians” is a heart-melter, featuring super strong progressive vibes that could please anyone from Deadmau5 fans to Lost Kings fans. Au5 showcases he knows no limits in “Guardians (feat. Fiora).”
Muneshine – Sunshine (LCAW Remix)
With a pulsating future house-influenced bass beat thumping, LCAW makes a slick remix that simply feels great. Sustained, ambient sounds come together to form a rather cool experience that’s doesn’t get old at any time.
