With thousands of singles dropping every week, we’ve put together our favorite energetic or powerful tunes all into one blog post. This week includes Monstercat releases that were top notch as well as a handful of future tunes that truly push the limit. Dive into our release below.
GTA – Red Lips (feat. Sam Bruno) [Skrillex Remix]
The master speaks. Skrillex gets trippier than usual with his GTA remix. Love to see Sonny throw in diverse cinematic and trippy effects. The man’s music keeps evolving.
Kicks N Licks – Young ft Adara
Kicks N Licks, a young duo currently touring and who pack a serious punch, have announced a two-track EP Young Mind and are pumped to be sharing it with fans. Today, they’ve dropped “Young,” a pulsating future bass track with heart-melting vocals to top it off, the combination is simply killer. These dudes have over 100K per plays, per track on their page – don’t miss this.
Aero Chord & Klaypex – Be Free
One of my favorite Monstercat artist is Aero Chord, he and Klaypex deliver extremely well together with “Be Free.” With distortion and delay effects circling around you, the tune creates a dark, heavy, but super unique world that all it’s own – cut up vocal samples and all.
Lick Twist – Lost & Lonely
Wow, this is one of the best anthems Ive heard in a while. Energy and intensity is abundant in Lick Twists new original “Lost & Lonely.” Seductive vocals and progressive vibes never sounded so good together.
BTOYL – Catchy (Original Mix)
With arpeggio delay effects flying, BTOYL stitches together a fresh instrumental that melds well with mind. BTOYL has been on his remix game alot lately, but an OG says something about an artists ability to hang around long-term, “Catchy” is a great step forward.
Karma Fields & MORTEN – Stickup ft. Juliette Lewis
“Stickup” is one of the hardest tracks to appear on the Monstercat grid in a while. With a almost 80’s horror-like feel to it, Karma Fields & MORTEN create a spooky, gothicy banger that is like no other.
BlueCollar – Siege (Original Mix)
Siege combines percussion elements of house with the energetic vibe of electro house. The hypnotic rhythms and strong bass makes BlueCollar’s original easy to get into. BlueCollar is pretty knew but has production value that truly stands out.
D.O.D & Futuristic Polar Bears – Why (Out now)
I’m not a total fan of big room build ups, but “Why” comes through with a drop that is full, rough, and something I found captivating. Pretty interested to see what D.O.D & Futuristic Polar Bears put out next.
