Downlink – Bass War
Just like his Destroid brother Excision, Downlink is a master of creating chillingly cinematic intros. Bass Wars is no different, it creeps up on the listener before dropping into ascending basses that soon change into grimmy shotgun basses.
jPhelpz – GASLK
Dubstep is making its way back to the top right now, and JPhelpz newest banger is a perfect example of why. An ominous dreamlike atmosphere lead into drop filled with edgy basses and captivating call and response. The tune’s second drop flips things on its head, introducing several new rapid firing basses that provide contrast to the original basses, while still feeling like they fit perfectly.
Feelmonger – Computer Music
Utilizing all the advantages of digital music, while still drawing influence from the days of internet past, Feelonger’s new track is a gooey and wobble-filled bass experience. Dial-up sounds mix with lush white noise, giving way to a trippy melody that is sook taken over by thick bass and huge drums, proving just how lit computer music can be.
Teri Miko – Fukuyo
Coming in fresh off of WOLV, Dyro’s very own record label, is “Fukuyo”. Teri Miko, a female trap and bass powerhouse, has been making quite the name for herself between her DJ sets and music. “Fukuyo” is a breakbeat tune that will have you moving to the bass line and feeling lost in a futuristic desert with the Indian vibes and unique elements.
Honeycomb – Cheesecake
Whether he’s beatboxing, or producing heavy wubs, Honeycomb is a beast at whatever he puts his mind to. His newest track, featuring hilarious vocals from a Future interview, dances between complex metallic basses, and distorted versions of the original interview. The second drop changes up, adopting new notes and wobble patterns.
MurMur – The Darkside
Prior to his recent Rogue One inspired event, up and coming dubstep producer MurMur released a Star Wars themed track to get music fans pumped for the newest edition of the classic sci-fi series. Arpeggios play over those instantly recognizable blaster and lightsaber sounds, leading into an ADD drop filled with complex and sporadic movement. The metallic basses mix perfectly with the phat sub to create an immersive experience that embodies everything we love about being in a galaxy far far away.
