Dirtyphonics & Bassnectar – Watch Out (Feat. Ragga Twins)
Let’s start things off with one of the biggest tracks of the week, a collab we didn’t even know we needed, but appreciate non-the less. When Dirtyphonics and Bassnectar got together they created a monster that perfectly blends their individual styles. Heavy drums and distorted vocals meet tidal waves of grimy bass and immersive sound effects, creating a tune that will be in our ears for quite some time
Psymbionic x Holly – Shatter
This MASSIVE collab between bass innovators Psymbionic and Holly is a truly experimental tune that pushes the boundaries of bass music. While it may at first seem like an unnecessarily abrasive and chaotic tune, closer inspection reveal a song that is meticulous and thoughtful. This will absolutely throw ravers for a loop when dropped this festival season
Elevated Mind & Djank Yucca – Khufu
“Khufu” is a sonic journey carefully curated by Elevated Mind and Djank Yucca, featuring middle eastern influence and bone crushing bass! The song leads you on to think that it will be just another trap drop, but it is quickly revealed that the duo likes their bass much more grimy and unique. As the song progresses the main theme of the drop is expanded on, keeping the listener invested from start to finish.
DeeZ – Know Dem Ft. Dhost
Bass wizard Deez is back at it again, taking us to space with his new tune featuring Dhost. The song is very minimalistic, focusing on heavy kicks and underlying bass, which is only emphasized by the song’s carefully crafted atmosphere. Super experimental vibes on this one!
What So Not – Touched (Part Native Remix)
Faethoms – Hypernautics
Nato Feelz – Got It
With “Got It” Nato Feelz utilizes soaking wet sound design and speaker shattering drums, resulting in a fresh dubstep tune that doesn’t feel like a whole lot out there. The attention to detail is not only apparent in the song’s sound design, but also in the way it builds energy in the pre-drop. Make sure not to miss this one!
FiASKO & RoboDrop – Purp Machine ???????
Fiasko & RoboDrop waste no time with their euphoric new tune “Purp Machine”. Almost right away the listener is thrown into an immersive and melodic soundscape, before the tune seamlessly transitions into a drop that sustains that same energy, while also adding grimy filled basses to liven things up. It doesn’t matter if you prefer heavy bass or catchy melodies, this tune is perfect for EVERYONE
