EDM innovators Zeds Dead have brought together a few of their friends for a remix EP of their album “Northern Lights”! With his remix of Symphony Bear Grillz brings new life to the piano driven track with a satisfyingly heavy drop that perfectly contrasts the track’s eery vocals.
Cherney – Bloodshot
Up and coming dubstep producer Cherney is back again with a fresh new dubstep tune focusing on the addictive habits of today’s marijuana obsessed youth. The song features some intense sound design and a slew of brain tingling effects and filler patterns, which helps this song to be one of the best the young producer has released so far.
Ray Volpe – Rescue Me
Ray Volpe is back with an new banger that really makes the most out of a simple concept. The track’s core vocal sample is played with in various way throughout the song, all while being backed up by a varsity of intense synths and heavy 808s. This song will tear any dance floor apart, while simultaneously giving a heavy set a little room to breath.
Jadu Dala x Sola – Compilation Album
The upcoming indie labels Jadu Dala and Sola teamed up to help deliver a compilation album unlike any others. Being jam packed with some seriously talented artists and hidden gems, you can expect every track to be more unique then the last. The sound design, samples, and overall feel raise the bar high and leave you wondering how long these labels will still underground before taking off!
Megan Hamilton & The Bermudas – Siddhartha (Unlimited Gravity Remix)
In his high energy remix to Siddhartha Unlimited Gravity blends mystical melodies with wonky and captivating bass. Intense horn stabs lay overtop the tune’s main melody, leading into a drop that is both heavy, yet restrained. The fresh and out-of-the-ordinary sounds that fill out the bass parts is really what will bring this track alive for most people.
Tsimba & Deez- Signals (Mindset Remix)
The first track from Tsimba and Deez’s Orbiter remix EP is a weird and intense flip of a relatively relaxed track. In the first half Mindset sets up your expectations with a minimalistic bassline, before blowing it out of the water with a super wonky and wet bass that shakes the speakers in the second half.
MIXINIT & MOLDAVITE – Purpose
This piano driven track is a melodic masterpiece that flawlessly builds tension, leading into a wide and heavy future bass drop. The song has amazing flow, it truly feels like an organic composition, always staying true to the theme in some way. Definitely a cool way to end this playlist, or any DJ set for that matter.
