Griz & Big Gigantic – Good Times Roll (Ephwurd Remix)
Ephwurd tries their hand at flipping Griz’s funky single “Good Times Roll”. Like a true fan of the original, the duo leaves much of the original track in place, instead introducing their own blend of funky and hard hitting bass in a four to the floor electro drop. This song will be perfect for those daytime raves where everyone is just vibing and having a good time with the sun shining on their backs.
Reid Speed & Frank Royal – Get Wet
Play Me Record’s label head is at it again with a track that is sure to be rampant in sets this summer. The song’s blend of eery and uplifting elements create an experience that keeps the listener on the edge of their seat. Each drum, bass, and synth is crafted and written to play off all the other elements in the track, creating a dance that is pure and passionate.
BVRNOUT – You Know
With “You Know” BVRNOUT proves that he really knows how to take his listeners on a ride. The song’s flute driven theme is beautifully built on, leading into an unexpectedly minimalistic drop that really hits where it counts. It’s songs like this that really capture audiences because they build a world in themselves. This tune’s masterful combination of sound, rhythm, and melody, has crafted an experience unlike any other.
We’re Not Friends – Ain’t Got No
After months of silence from dubstep’s newest rising duo, We’re Not Friends have returned with an immersive track filled with eery horns, energetic vocals, and spass-tastic synths and basses. As with all of the duo’s songs, this new banger features intense attention to detail, making every second an individual sonic experience to relish.
Blinders – Two Sides EP
Coming in hot with his latest two track EP, Blinders is here to deliver a refreshing twist on Protocol Recordings. Nicky Romero’s label may be used to the four-to-the-floor sound, but Blinders is here to break the standard with his tracks “Molly” and “Broken”. Gear up for these high energy tunes and get ready for an unexpected sound.
Jameston Thieves x TWO OWLS – Last Laugh
In a masterful mixture of experimental sound design and captivating melody, this insane collab soars above the rest with its hunger for a balance of originality and conformity. You never quite know where this track is going to take you, all you know is that the attention to detail is staggering. The vocals are intoxicating, the basses are bone-shattering, and the melodies are disarming. Just one more example of how Jameston Thieves and Two Owls are killing it right now.
Lauryn Hill – That Thing (LUZCID Bootleg)
Luzcid’s flip of this iconic 90’s hit really takes the song in a different direction. In essence Luzcid replaces the original groove with a spaced out atmosphere, which soon leads into a drop with a surprising and exciting bassline. The tasteful use of Ms. Lauryn Hill’s vocals really help to bring this song alive, while illuminating the true love the producer has for the original track.
