It’s another week and another Powerful Picks. This time around you can expect tracks from some heavy hitters that everyone has come to love and even a remix of that one band with that one guy from the movie Fight Club. Kick back, crank the speakers, and get ready for our hand-crafted selections – this is Powerful Picks.
NGHTMRE & Dillon Francis – Another Dimension
Hitting the ground running this week is NGHTMRE and Dillon Francis with “Another Dimension”. This collab is one of the rare ones that scream each of the artists signature sounds and can be dissected easily to hear who brought what to the table. You can expect some serious up-beat energy and a drum & bass sound that is larger than life!
SLANDER & SULLIVAN KING – WELCOME TO THE FIRE
This next team is composed of LA duo SLANDER and the EDM guitarist Sullivan King. Their recent collab “Welcome To The Fire” turns up the heat as some serious shredding is shown off on the guitar, while being tied into a heavy bass sound. It’s easy to say that this song is going to be creating some rowdy crowds all around the globe, so here’s your warning now! Our only complaint is this song needs to be longer!
Blaxtork – Tropic
Next up is Blaxtork with MACA Records. This label is one that has been creating a serious name for themselves lately as they push forth unique bass tracks that challenge the status quo. “Tropic” will have you feeling lost in the Amazon, as the jungle vibes take over and blanket you. With a jersey vibe mixed in, it’ll be impossible to not bounce along to!
Thirty Seconds To Mars – Kings And Queens (Anki Remix)
Anki is one artist who has been on my radar for a while now. His remixes and originals always encompass a tidal wave of emotion and feelings with each drop. This time around he decided to put his on touch on Thirty Seconds To Mars smash hit “Kings And Queens” and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the massive chorus to the chords and everything in between, this remix is one of our top picks for the classic track.
VIRTU – Let You Go
Getting ready to wind things down before we come to an end is VIRTU with “Let You Go”. This track is one that injects a dream world into your everyday life. It’s easy to let this release play as you kick back and get lost in the music. The massive chorus and heart warming drops will have you encapsulated in a jovial feeling!
