Egzod – It’ll Always Be Us (feat. Leo The Kind)
Egzod and Leo The Kind are two artist that have been on my radar since the start of both of their musical journeys. It’s no surprise that they teamed up yet again after their smash hit “Paper Crowns” on NCS. With Egzod’s unique blend of future bass and tribal vibes and Leo The Kinds voice that runs parallel with an old soul who’s been through it all, “It’ll Always Be Us” is one haunting tune.
Loge21 – Next Order
The bass house legends Loge21 have teamed up with Tiesto’s Musical Freedom to bring forth their latest release “Next Order”. With highly popular releases under Tchami’s Confession, such as “Drop That” and their signature heavy sound, Loge21 is definitely a duo that deserves the approval of all the house heavy hitters. “Next Order” leaves you with a low end that will rumble any speaker and a kick that will drive shuffling crowds around the globe.
DJ SNAKE – A Different Way (DEVAULT Remix)
Being a huge fan of Lauv, his recent collab with DJ SNAKE was one that caught me by surprise. Snake’s production and Lauv’s flawless vocals created one tune that was hard to quit. DEVAULT decided to take a stab at turning this hit into his own production and having the approval of Snake to make it official is always a bonus. Even though the signature vocals chops you’d expect are gone, I guarantee this drop will leave you beyond satisfied as it offers an alternative to the original that will be hard to pass up.
Ephwurd – Function (feat. Oneeva)
Ephwurd, composed of Datsik and Baishaus, is back with another bass house banger. They also decided to take this one in a different direction with the featuring of Oneeva. You’ll be taken on a journey with mesmerizing vocals, four-to-the-floor drops and a half time section that will have you convinced these guys aren’t from here.
Florian Picasso – Obsession
Here to showcase another release from Musical Freedom is Florian Picasso with “Obsession”. You’ll quickly get these vocals stuck in your head as the breakdowns get you hooked on this house hit. With a unique drop that blends multiple genres and emphasizes on the bass, it’s safe to say that Florian Picasso is going to have a great end of the year!
Kaizen – Sanctuary
Kaizen is one of Florida’s uprising artists and his track “Sanctuary” is here to show just that. This melodic masterpiece showcases his talent at creating mesmerizing melodies and drops that will leave you full of emotion. The electronic tune is one that will also show you how not using vocals can sometimes leave a lasting impact if done right. Try not to catch the feels on this one!
YOOKIE – Intruder Alert
The heavy bass duo YOOKIE has cooked up a seriously bass shattering tune and what perfect place is there to show it off other then Zeds Deads’ Deadbeats imprint. This tune will take the classic bass song structure you are used to and flip it on its head. The amount of low end shoved into this relentless record will leave you questioning what you just listened to!
LAVID – Infinity (feat. Moli)
Closing us off on the more chill side is LAVID with “Infinity”. Moli helps deliver a top line on this one that leaves you wanting more of her hypnotic voice. Before you know it, the drop hits and takes over, throwing you into a melodic atmosphere you won’t want to leave!
