This week display many bass track worth noting. From darker mysterious sounds, to epic, cinematic thrillers expressed purely through audio. This week’s line up hits hard while hitting the spot. Dive into a set below.
Trivecta – The Vale (feat. Miyoki)
Packing tons of vibes and energy levels into one track, all surrounded by on-point, trippy bass effects, “The Vale (feat. Miyoki)” comes off strong. This is not Trivecta’s first Monstercat release and most likely won’t be his last. With amazing album art and music to match, Trivecta is a great addition to the Monstercat family and will make your bedroom speakers weep.
Puppet & Cormak – Enough Is Enough (feat. Richard Caddock)
Puppet & Cormak have formed a pop-punk meets electro fusion that pushes bass music to a place it really hasn’t been yet. With quality and epicness, “Enough Is Enough (feat. Richard Caddock)” delivers something truly unique to the bass music community.
TREH- Planet X (Original Mix)
TREH is good at alot of things. A few include social media, connecting with fans, and most importantly, the music. “Planet X (Original Mix)” combins electro with some deep house elements that are easy to groove to, “Planet X” is pure. simple fun.
Torro Torro – Make A Move (Wild Boyz! Remix)
Wild Boyz! have a special place my heart. I have watched the act grow from humble beginnings. Where they are at today is incredible; due to focus, practice, and doing the right thing at the right time A couple weeks back Wild Boyz! locked down a Pegboard Nerds remix that was so righteous, PG gave it their stamp of approval. Wild Boyz! is going places 100%.
Cesqeaux – Colossal (Rawtek Edit)
Rawtek focuses their music on a more mysterious, darker side with “Colossal (Rawtek Edit)”. The edit uses alot of sounds that are intended to create a story in the mind, capturing your attention before you know it. Mix this with edgy, heavy drops and you have a killer of a track.
Young Thug – Best Friend (trentino revision)
Genres are doing some crazy things in 2016, trentino is no stranger to the trend, creating a tune that’s a bit bass house, a bit future house, alot of trap, and god knows what else. However you define it, the tune throws down. It’s great to see trentino break 10K as he’s consistently put out some good jams in 2015.
Draper – All I See (feat. Laura Brehm)
What track is bad that Laura Brehm is on? “All I See” takes solid lyrics and pairs it with great rhythm, an uplifting beat, and a chill tempo. This is one of Draper’s more experimental tunes, ensuring the pigeonhole syndrome doesn’t stand a chance in his space. The UK based artist is just getting warmed up for 2016, check out his SoundCloud for a look at a dope and dynamic catalog.
