Flux Pavilion & NGHTMRE – Feel Your Love
“Feel Your Love” has been one of the hottest tracks teased in plenty of Flux Pavilion and NGHTMRE sets up until now. This massive ID has finally been released and is sweeping the bass scene, being found as a mandatory track in any DJ’s set. With a huge drop and the classic Flux feel on the synths, this tune is surely a refreshing one.
Jack U – Mind (4B Remix)
Given so much bass music like this out there now, I think I can now classify 4B as a mixture of Kandy and Troyboi. “Mind (4B Remix)” is the best 4B track to explain this notion thus far. The drop in “Mind (4B Remix)” is highly rhythmic and embraces jersey club vibes, but also had a certain lowkey melody style that gives the tune – and 4B – it’s edge. It’s a sound that’s all it’s own, fitting in well with the audience it aims to entertain, and beyond. To top this one off, Skrillex reposted on Twitter, exposing the solo DJ’s remix to an even greater audience. 4B has held is ground in the scene well since blowing up last year, each new thing you see from him gets bigger. This another solid notch in the belt.
Pegboard Nerds & NGHTMRE Ft. Krewella – Superstar (not sorry & Wild Boyz! Remix)
not sorry & Wild Boyz! are a force to watch out for. The two have paired up alot lately to make this almost-over-the-top dubstep productions that go off. “Superstar (not sorry & Wild Boyz! Remix)” takes the original of 3 heavy hitters and turn into a complete rager. not sorry & Wild Boyz! are climbing up in the bass scene, their latest remix is another example of why.
BRLY LGL- Lap of Luxury (Original Mix)
BRLY LGL’s “Lap of Luxury (Original Mix)” is released on the duo’s very own imprint, which is brand new, entitled Adult Sounds. “Lap of Luxury (Original Mix)” is a sick banger follow up to their Kannibalen mix they did not too long ago. Stay watching this guy-girl duo, they are going places.
Borgore Ft. G-Eazy – Forbes (Getter Remix)
If you loved Getter’s smash hit with the ghoul Ghastly, then his remix of “Forbes” will most likely strike a chord with you. This huge record has the feel of “666!” with the vocals from the one and only G-Eazy. The perfect mash-up of sounds will satisfy anyone’s ears who can’t get enough of bass.
Fada & Morden – Close To The Edge (Feat. MC Coppa)
Blending the stylings of DnB and Trap, “Close To The Edge” is a hard hitting song that features ominous drop and tons of tiny little effects and sounds that give the tune a chaotic feel. The drums are fat and crisp and MC Coppa’s vocals gel perfectly with the mix to give the song that extra drive, while not distracting from the other elements.
Kronic – Bulimic feat. Patty Crash, Israel Bell & Mike Jerz
Kronic’s “Bulimic” is like a modern art project. It has handfuls of future sounds layered together, but in a way that is ordered, makes sense – and without a doubt makes a badass experience for a single. The tune has personality, attitude, atmosphere, a strong theme, unpredictable aesthetics. Kronic goes hard and has a dope sounding crew on his tracks.
AKF – Gleam Eyes
There is something to say for tracks that can contrast a heavy drop with a euphoric and melodic intro, and “Gleam Eyes” does this super well. The bass in the drop is very typical AFK style, but the opening melody and backing pad, as well as a companion drum break create such an atmosphere that you have no choice but to get excited for what is to come.
Beats Antique – Killer Bee (Aztek Remix)
Beats Antique are known for their “bohemian” or “carnival” sound, but in this remix Aztek takes that sound and makes it more EDM flavored, by adding fat trap 808’s and cool synth leads. The best thing about this remix is how it changes the track just enough, while still keeping much of the original vibe and vocals. The vocals in the bridge present an alarming message that could be use very effectively to promote empathy in the rave scene.
Jade Cicada – Eolian Oms
The title track from Jade Cicada’s debut EP is a melodic future bass track that features a watery bass and several neuro-esque fills. In the 2nd drop the tune suddenly turns into a DnB track that incorporates a killer break and a super fat sub-bass. This tune is quite the change up from the Jade Cicada that we’ve hear before, so we’re very interested to see what he does in the future.
