Digging for music gets better and better the more time you spend on it. The week I found a huge pool of diverse sounds but only pulled a handful of my absolute favorites. You’ll find the best of everything: future bass, d’n’b, progressive, and so much more in Volume 2 of “Powerful Picks Of The Week”
Fox Stevenson – Sweets (Soda Pop)
The track originally premiered on Spinnin’ Records as an ID, exploding in plays the next following days. This week, Fox Stevenson’s “Sweets (Soda Pop)” has officially released for all to listen and purchase. The tune fuses happy-go-lucky pop vibes with popular big-room synth sounds, a merge that only Fox himself could of thought up.
Iggy Azalea ft. Rita Ora- Black Widow (Prismo Remix)
Houston-native Prismo remixes “Black Widow” made famous by Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora. This remix samples various flowing sounds with tasteful bass drops. Prismo’s remix gives this song a much needed flair that ensures toe tapping and booty shaking. Prismo reminds us of heavy hitters like Flosstradamus and Styles & Complete. Look out for this up-and-coming artist!
Royal – Cowboy Bebop
Containing the title of a famous anime/Adult Swim TV show “Cowboy Bebop,” Royal begins to show us his highly differentiated song fit for the wild-west itself. Featuring a very out-there melody, bubbly cut-up vocals, and some serious bass.
EC Twins – “This Is How We Do It”
EC Twin’s music productions are always big and “in your face” styled tracks. Their recent release “This Is How We Do It” contains everything from big-room synths, robotic voices, and hard-hitting drops. EC Twins and LiFE Night Club have teamed up in 2014 to enact a residency at the new mega-club SLS Las Vegas starting this month.

Champagne Drip – Bermuda
I stumbled upon Champagne Drip via Mad Decent’s Soundcloud page, the discovery completely made my day. Champagne Drip truly has a sound that knows no bounds; containing quick, up-beat drums, weird samples from every corner of sound universe, and crisp, clean melodies that ease the soul.
Cazzette – Sleepless (A-Trak Remix)
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Cazzette’s energetic deep house single “Sleepless” has been everywhere. A-Trak injected his creative spin on the sound, completely changing the chord patterns without loosing the emotional, powerful vibes “Sleepless” contains. Wait until the drop, things get stranger than you could imagine.
Hellberg & Rich Edwards – Hands Of Time (feat. Jonny Rose)
Who knew the trio of Hellberg, Rich Edwards, and Jonny Rose would produce such a quality production. “Hands Of Time” blend progressive and hard electro elements with nostalgic vocal parts, a combination that all electronic fanatics can appreciate.
Must Die – Together
Must Die’s “Together” is a rager on a brand new level. Showcasing a drum kit that isn’t overused with a catchy, trap-like melody and stretched-out sound effects, Must Die has delivered a seriously ill single.
