As apart of their HARD Day of the Dead mixtape series, Derek Vincent Smith aka Pretty Lights dropped a 40-minute mixtape beginning with his appropriate Halloween mashup, followed by a few Color Map tracks, older Pretty Lights tracks, and tracks from other PLM artists Gramatik, Break Science, SuperVision and Paul Basic. It encompasses a range of sounds, from heavy-hitters like “I Know The Truth”, to more relaxed “Still Night” and Gramatik’s “Is It Over”, to the funkiness of “Gold Coast Hustle” and Michal Menert’s “Still Dreaming”.
If you’re in vincity of the west coast this October, HARD Day of the Dead is featuring a stacked lineup over Halloween weekend. Along with Pretty Lights will be artists such as deadmau5, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Nero, Eric Prydz, and more. Tickets are still on sale by clicking here.
