The soundboards…they have been released! After months filled with rumors and anticipation, Pretty Lights and the crew have finally set loose their latest project in the form of 13 beautiful, full length video recordings from last year’s two night Telluride run. We were fortunate enough to be in attendance last year, and these videos successfully transport us back to last August and have us waiting on the edge of our seat for round 2.
Full length live band performances of “Exodus” (14 minutes!), “Around The Block” and “One Day They’ll Know“ among other beauties comprise the 13 track release. However, “If I Could Feel Again” has our completely subjective vote for favorite; it’s one of the best versions of the beloved classic we’ve heard yet.
Stay tuned, as the mad scientist known as Derek Vincent Smith seems to just be getting started. The PL camp has been hinting at big things on the horizon, and if this is any indication, we have a lot to look forward to the rest of the year.
