Pretty Lights ft. LeAnn Rimes and Ralph Stanley – Wayfaring Stranger

So this Hyundai ReGeneration Project is one of the best things I’ve seen go on in the world of electronic music since I’ve been around it. We premiered the Skrillex/The Doors collaboration earlier today; now I have the one which I have personally been giddy about. Pretty Lights takes on bluegrass, banjo legend Ralph Stanley and phenom country vocalist LeAnn Rimes. (So maybe I am a sucker for a little country)

DVS said it himself: “There is no limit to what we can create”. The guy is so cultured and diverse when it comes to his production. [Also see John Denver Country Roads by PL]. At the same time he conquers seamless transition into other genres, Derek never looses that Pretty Lights melodical swag that we all know and absolutely fucking love.
