If you’ve ever attended Electric Forest, we’re willing to bet that you’ve found yourself walking away from a stage at the end of a set only to quickly turn around when the “Prize Cart” jingle starts playing.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Prize Cart – it’s Electric Forest’s ingenious way of encouraging festival goers to help clean up leftover trash after sets. When the prize cart jingle starts playing, staff members hand out trash bags for participants to quickly fill up in exchange for, well, prizes; ensuring that the land stays trash free while rewarding participants for sticking around for a few minutes to help clean up between sets.
In collaboration with Electricology – a forest “Plug-In” program promoting sustainability in the Forest – attendees at this year’s Electric Forest have the opportunity to remix the infamous Prize Cart anthem for a chance at hearing their mix blasted throughout this year’s festival.
Winners of the Prize Cart Remix Contest will be rewarded with:
- Two (2) GA Camping wristbands to an Electric Forest weekend of your choice
- Your remix showcased as the official Prize Cart Remix Contest winner
- An announcement of your remix being selected
Each remix will be judged by its Creativity (50%,) Forest Vibes (30%) and Professionalism (20%) as determiend by judges including Kyle Hollingsworth, Electricology, and the Plug-In team.
