Before I even pressed play on the SoundCloud player of this “Shadow of the Day Mix” mashup I was sold. Anything with the words “Linkin Park” in it immediately captures my heart. To this day, I will never understand why producers/DJ’s don’t remix or mashup Linkin Park records more often.
Regardless, to me this mix is emotional and flawless. The vocals fit seamlessly with Project 46’s original ID back beat and progression. I could listen to this all day, it’ll definitely be stuck on repeat for a while.
Project 46 broke into the DJ Mag Top 100 last year and that forever changed their lives as artists. Their success has been very well deserved, so for what it’s worth, if you enjoy what these guys are doing vote for them here.
