After a large, successful North American tour, PRXZM has unveiled their fourth single “Tell Me Something New.” In contrast to the album’s previous singles, “Tell Me Something New” uses deep lyrics, strong vocals and intense sound to tell a story of romance and emotion. PRXZM is comprised of two talents, Nick and Emma, who together create a unique, refreshing sound that is all their own. In this song, Nick’s ability to create hypnotic beats blends effortlessly with Emma’s Sultry moving vocals is a key highlight. By doing so, the group takes every listener on a moving journey of emotion in their latest Lowly Palace release.
The members of PRXZM met in 2013 at Indiana University. Nick Ortega and Emma Maidenberg began making music together in the dorms, and soon began performing around campus. Within a few months PRXZM was created and the electronic music scene started to take notice. By their third year of college, they were spending their Friday’s skipping class to catch planes to performances. They began connecting with fans and playing more shows – now in their fourth year will be releasing their debut EP.

I saw a shirt at H&M that said “something new” and the lyrics came to me…I was really in need of a sign that I was ready to start over after a tough semester at college and wrote nearly the entire song in the changing room there! We’ve been super excited to share this track with you guys.
The core vibe on this track is the obvious juxtaposition of the strong, trappy percussion and horn section, with the airy vocals and guitar. We like to use contrast like this as much as we can in our music.
