Listen up: the super cool Quality Goods Records team that is headed up by trap honcho UZ has just put out their latest EP release, and it’s a banger. One of the hottest bass labels around right now, the ir biggest act in the spotlight is sfam, two producers from Mississippi, US.
The pair has now put forward their Expand EP, five distinctive sounds with rap, hip hop, grime and dubstep influences scattered across the track list. Fellow producer Bawldy joins sfam for the kicking “Yo,” whilst “Embellish” is quite literally embellished by the grizzly tones of Quaviusblack. The title track is our standout here; it’s full of little production quirks and moments of contrast.
