After blasting out the gate this summer, trap pioneer UZ’s full length album Layers returns for the winter with some slight changes contained within. This time around it’s an absolute fest of remixes, reworks and re-edits as UZ and Quality Goods Records serve up Layers (The Remixes) – jam packed with a staggering FIFTEEN unique and diverse remixes from a cross section of some of the finest production talent out there.
It’s an immense project and looking down at the list of guests, it’s not difficult to see why: Machinedrum, Yvng Jalapeno, Ian Munro, Teddy Killerz, UNKWN, Tapecut and many, many more (plus all the vocal appearances including Foreign Beggars, OG Maco, Elliphant and Onoe Caponoe) help seamlessly weave this album together with devastating effect.
