Off of the “Bicycle Day Compilation”, Random Rab gives us an extremely chilled-out trip-hop track entitled “Crossing Over”. Random Rab has always been one of my favorite artists, producing very spiritual music that uses a lot of great instrumentation. All of his songs tell a story in one way or another, each exhibiting a special vibe that only Rab can create.
“Crossing Over” is a downtempo track that will get your mind thinking and put the world into perspective. It uses clean percussion with beautiful strings and keys with a dark, yet uplifting melody. His subtle use of sampling and synths really adds a nice effect to the song as well.
