We’re starting this week’s RaverRafting Playlist with Shift K3Y’s house stomper “Only You”, out now on Ultra Music. This hot track is booming with energy and is expected to be one of this year’s dance floor anthems after being revealed via BBC Radio 1Xtra as Mistajam’s selection for Jam Hot Record.
Next up is PAWSA’s “The Groovy Cat”, Endor’s “Gunna Be Mine” and Madou’s “Floating” before we get into Nora En Pure’s “Sphinx”. The original is addictive and mellow enhanced by piano and strings creating a refined atmosphere, while the alternative version brings the track to the tropics with the addition of chimes, steel instrumentals, and small bird chimes.
We also loved Paul Oakenfold and Amba Shepherd’s “Love Escape” to get over our Valentine’s Day blues from last week and “Holograms” by Digitalism. Darude also partnered with Ashley Wallbridge and FOUX in “Surrender” and is the first release on the Garuda imprint. The trance track takes us back in time to the 90s that make it perfect for a throwback song.
