RaverRafting is bringing you a quick teaser of a weekly playlist with a range of hits this week, most prominently the release of Above & Beyond’s “Northern Soul” on one of our favourite labels, Anjunadeep with an extra special extended version with Richard Bedford. Alongside this, from a Kygo and OneRepublic collaboration to techno stalwart Dubfire to house breaks legend Pete Tong’s experimentation with The Heritage Orchestra, the RaverRafting weekly playlist is the one for you.
Many of us here at RaverRafting love the moshing sensibilities of Bassnectar and their recent partnership with Digital Ethos on Reflective Part. 2 with the excellent track “Slather” had all us feeling the good head-banging vibes this DJ always brings. Widely regarded on Beatport, Solardo’s Fall Down EP on Hot Creations caught our eyes and ears this week and we’ve added the original mix and the MK house remix to our playlist this week. As well as this, MK also features for a second time as we loved Tchami’s remix of Mark Kinchen’s classic track “17”.
Dance track released earlier this week, “The Sermon”, by none other than Tchami, in collaboration with Malaa, also peaked our interest and this is definitely one for those who like something a little groovier. “Stranger Things” definitely provides the perfect soundtrack to the critically acclaimed Netflix show of the same name and this track by Kygo has us looking forward to the tour in the new year. We’re also loving “Riding Shotgun” on which Kygo has joined with Oliver Nelson and Bonnie McKee and it provides a different vibe to one found in Pete Tong’s “Promised Land”.
