Forget eating that tuna fish sandwich at your desk, now you can spend an hour dancing to dirty beats before getting back to the grind and finishing out your day.
What started in Sweden, the Lunch Beat movement has spread across the world. Lunch Beat creator Molly Range envisioned an event that combined the culture of cult classic ‘Fight Club’ with the energy of dance music.
The first rule at Lunch Beat is that you don’t talk about your job at Lunch Beat.
Other rules include the banning of drugs and alcohol sales during the dance session. All Lunch Beat affiliated events are non-profit, but look for nightclubs and venues to try and capitalize on the new craze. Most of these places are empty during the day and even if these lose money being open, it would be worth it in terms of marketing dollars.
