We’ll make this short and sweet. If you don’t attend Dirtybird Campout this year, we hope you’re doing ok, cause you must be in the hospital or unable to financially do it. Otherwise, we don’t want to hear it. Let’s go over a few reasons why.
Oak Canyon Park
Located about 1.5 hours from LAX, and a stones throw from SNA, this is the amazing setting for a campout that you won’t forget. Yes, Salute Your Shorts, all the way. But please, don’t hog the tire swing.
Lineup
This lineup speaks for itself. You’ve got the veteran Dirtybirds of Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Kill Frenzy, Shiba San, and so many more, but also the newest artists that have risen to new heights this past year which include Ardalan, Bruno Furlan, Ciszak, and so many more.
Activities
But not only do you get to hear all of those crazy birds above at their best, you also get to see what they’re made of as they help coordinate and participate in enough activities that you better start practicing crew and see how good your shot is for archery now. Archery, Dodgeball, Kickball, Boat Races, Tug of War, Knot Tying, Yoga Classes…. I mean, come on. What other music event gives you this kind of kick ass experience?
Dirtybird really loves their fans, and that goes to show more and more. For instance, allowing them to enter a contest to design and select the Campout Merit Patch Design (congrats Brooke Lingerfelder – Keepin’ It Weird), and with all of the other nominees all winning 2nd prize and their patches still getting made. Now that’s love.
Camp Kodiak, Bed EZ Package, and RV Passes are all sold out, but regular tickets that include camping and also Car Camping options are still available. So grab yours here, and don’t miss out. And if you still need a little more convincing, check out the recap video from the inaugural 2015 year, and you’ll be ready to go!
