Bristol’s finest bass artist Redlight has entered the deep house space with new three track EP release City Jams. Being influenced by Chicago record label Dance Mania, founded by Jesse Saunders in 1985, Hugh Pescod has taken on the ghetto house sound that the label defined. This is perfectly showcased in title track ‘City Jams’ that has been released recently, with the rest of the EP to be released later this month. The second track ‘City Jams’ has been remixed by DJ Deeon and third, ‘Anonymous’ takes on similar qualities to the first two tracks but seems to have more of a dance fusion.
