Back in 2012, Ingrosso And Tommy Trash teamed up with John Martin to unveil “Reload,” which has since taken on legendary status, becoming one of the most influential progressive house songs of the past decade. Now, rising producers 32Stitches and blklght have just unveiled a stunning cover of the monumental single, infusing it with immersive atmospheres and infectious trap energy. As the artists explain:
“Back when Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash dropped ‘Reload’ in 2012 it was an instant classic for us. An anthem you would expect to hear at almost any club or festival because everyone was dying to hear it. It’s always tough working on something as historic as this because you want to do the song justice. We knew it was going to be tough but we wanted to see if we could bring back the song with a new flavour and introduce it to an audience that may have never experienced it before, or bring back that nostalgia for those that had.”
32Stitches and blklght combine their respective skills masterfully on “Reload,” which makes up for a stunning display of creativity and production. 32Stitches has amassed over 30 million streams throughout his career, while having signed his music to some of the scene’s biggest labels. blklght on the other hand has become notorious for his energy both on and off-stage, while having shared remixes for the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Luis Fonsi, Aloe Blacc and Azealia Banks.
