REZZ pulls fans deeper into her brand of hypnotic dance music with the release of a 60-page comic book revealing the story behind her debut album, “Mass Manipulation.” While over the past years her music and live shows have propelled the 22-year-old to the ranks of the EDM elite, REZZ decided to take things to the next level and experiment with bringing her unearthly presence directly to print.
The comic book, available for preorder here, tells the tale of REZZ – an alien from Neptune who befriends two earthlings and brings them along on her mission to spread peace and love through her spellbinding brand of bass-infused, heavily industrialized techno. To illustrate her other-worldly vision, REZZ teamed up with illustrator Luis Colindres – whose work you’ve seen on her “Something Wrong Here” EP and on the “Mass Manipulation” Cover and tour art.
But wait, there’s more. Along with the comic book, REZZ has also released an animated video for her track “Premonition” ft Knodis. The video was produced by Colindres and Adelaido Olea and gives viewers a sneak peek of the madness that’s to come with the release of the ‘Mass Manipulation’ book. The video is psychedelic, paranormal, and feature two seemingly innocent kids who venture into the woods only to be brought deeper and deeper into the realms of REZZ’s magnetic music.
