Since being signed to mau5trap records, Rezz elpas begun to generate a large following through her dark and gritty sound. Unlike anything you’ll hear today, Rezz is pioneering her own style of music. Furthermore, she’s been embarking on her own tour with several performances featuring the ever mysterious, Malaa. Just yesterday her highly anticipated Something Wrong Here EP was officially released on mau5trap records. The six track EP is everything we’d expect from Rezz and it perfectly accents her forbidding and ominous style of production. Five of the tracks are Rezz originals, however on one track the Toronto native employed the help of rising songwriter and vocalist, Laura Brehm.
Brehm is no novice to the scene and already has a couple collaborations with the TheFatRat that have surpassed millions of plays on Soundcloud. In addition, she’s also collaborated with artists like Varien, Draper, and Vulpey. Furthermore, she’s written and produced her own tracks while still making time to collaborate with electronic producers. Her latest collaboration with Rezz on Melancholy perfectly accent her soothing, blissful voice. The acoustic vibe on the track allows for Laura’s euphoric vocals to be spotlighted while still catering to Rezz’s dark style of productions.
