I usually don’t dabble in the the chill house world, but there was a single release that captured my brain,”You Were There.” The tune pull’s together classic vocal and tech house elements, with pop and deep house aesthetics.
With over 200k plays and loads of comments, it’s clear there is something infectious and enjoyable about this track. As the song progresses, it adds each layer just at the right time, fueling the energy level right where it’s needed.
Rich James & Kai Raffaello definitely combine the best of both worlds with their collaborative original, “You Were There.” I’m certain I am not the only one who wants to hear another (peep the comments.)
