On March 25th Ricky Vaughn will be releasing his “Viva La Ricky” EP as a free download and this news has come alongside the announcement of a short tour in Central America (outlined below) and EP mini-mix. Vaughn’s new project consists of four records of various tempos, styles & genres and can be best described as “RV Club” music. Track titles include “Jahan On Me…,” “Mis Curenos (My Horns),” “Prendelo” and “Jumpin” featuring Maxx & EJ.
Through e-mail Ricky gave WhiteRaverRafting some details about each record on the EP:
“Track 1 is called “Jahan On Me…”, an accidental dedication to Krewella’s Jahan that blends Moombahton, Hip Hop and Bollywood all into one song. Track 2 is called “Mis Curenos (My Horns)”, an uptempo beat that brings Latin Merengue elements into the mix with fat 808 drums. Track 3 is called “Prendelo”, a Moombahton-esque anthem track featuring an uplifting feminine charged spoken word poem from a NY female poet. Last but not least “Jumpin Ft Maxx & EJ”, a booty bass banger filled tribal drums and a bunch of reggae vocal cuts.”
