Rival’s late 2018, early 2019 has been bombastic to say the least. The solo producer from Germany has released a handful of singles with names like Unknown Brain, Arc North, Laura Brehm, and many others. His single “Demons” joins the recently-built discography in a fitting manner, showcasing a unique influence of future bass, pop and sentimental-feeling chord progressions. Rival is a collaboration with Max Hurrell and is released on Magic Records; the label extension of the established YouTube music channel Magic Music. With 586K listeners on Spotify alone, “Demons” will certainly get fair placement thus boosting that stat even further.

Rival, aka Valentin Rieff, has had a diverse musical background before diving into a DJ/producer career. Piano, drums and trumpet were each a focus in his younger years before shifting to a set of tools to produce relevant to dance music.
