A leading figure in the Trap-music scene, Henry Steinway, widely-known by his alias of RL Grime, has at last treated fans to a full stream of the first single off of his debut album, accompanied by a vibrant and vivacious sci-fi themed music video. Entitled “Core”, RL Grime dropped a teaser trailer for the video on Instagram last week, along with the announcement for his first full-length album, much to the excitement of the dance music community.
“Core” is nothing short of what one would usually expect from the L.A native producer, it being a punchy, and bass-abundant Trap tune that is sure to have throngs of people getting down hard on the dance floor. Exemplary of his signature sound, and illustrative of his proficiency with production, this track has certainly delineated his forthcoming album as one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year.
Fluorescent, yet highly ominous, the music video for “Core” is also quite fitting of the tune, and can be viewed below:
