One of the leading figures in the Trap music scene, Henry Steinway (known by the alias of RL Grime) has just reached 200k “likes” on Facebook, and as a sort of ‘thank you’ to his fans, he has just released his personal edit of Nadus’ bright and harmonious track “Nxwxrk” as a free download. Fresh off of Nadus’ Broke City EP (which can be purchased here with proceeds being donated to Newark Boys Choral School), RL Grime has added his signature touch to the tune, building upon its existing elements to give it a new layer of depth and intensity.
With powerful bass lines, a solid beat, and a delicate arrangement of punchy, uplifting synth stabs to coalesce with the catchy, grooving melodies of the track, RL Grime most definitely did not disappoint with this edit, which you will most likely get the chance to hear should you happen to catch one of his upcoming live sets this festival season. This wouldn’t be the first time that the Los Angeles-based producer has amazed us with one of his edits, having dropped his version of “Favelas” as a free download back in December after reaching 100k fans, which quickly became a fan-favourite staple track in his mixes.
