Trap music icon RL Grime has been the subject of much of the talk in the scene as of late, having recently dropped a hard-hitting, and bass-abundant new track, entitled “Core“, fresh off of his forthcoming album, along with its rather compelling sci-fi themed music video. While fans wait patiently for more details about his LP, RL Grime has disclosed a handful of tour dates with scheduled stops at venues all across the United States. Commencing in Philadelphia at the end of October, the 2014 leg of the “Void” Tour will sweep through 27 places, including Boston, Chicago, Austin, and New York City, amongst others.
The last announced event is set to take place in December, however RL Grime took to Twitter to convey that a second string of shows for the Void tour will happen early in 2015, with the dates to be confirmed later this year. The Los Angeles-based producer has not clarified what significance the title “Void” holds, but fans can hopefully rest assured that they will find out soon enough when this highly-anticipated album drops.
