Robot Sunrise unveils his latest single, “Take Me,” via SPIN Records, and it’s an absolute stunner. This track grabs you from the start with a sweeping intro that effortlessly drifts into a deep, rolling design. The production feels like it’s pulling you through a sonic dream, combining airy pads with sharp, driving percussion. Robot Sunrise mixes in a piano melody that practically floats, creating an otherworldly vibe. And when his vocals come in—“Take me, where there is nothing / Take me, to the stars”—you’re fully immersed in a track that feels both intimate and cosmic, perfect for those late-night sets or solo headphone moments.
Robot Sunrise is the alias of Danny Klein, a veteran in LA’s underground electronic scene. Before stepping out on his own, he was one half of the duo Dreamfreak, known for their Astralwerks releases. His journey has taken him through a range of collaborations, from working with GRAMMY-winner Really Doe to the acclaimed Télépopmusik. It’s clear that Klein’s been in the trenches of the electronic world for a while, but with Robot Sunrise, he’s channeling something much deeper. He’s tapping into themes of personal freedom and global unity, turning his music into a platform for change.

Beyond the music, Klein is putting his money where his mouth is by donating a slice of his profits to the Human Rights Foundation. His art doesn’t just stop at the speakers—it’s about making a tangible difference. On top of all this, Robot Sunrise is prepping for The Robot Sunrise Experience, a huge one-night event on November 9 at the Porter St Community Center in DTLA. The event promises an immersive mix of live orchestration, dance, and storytelling, paired with a live melodic techno set that’ll bring it all together. After standout performances at Burning Man and Off The Grid Campout, Robot Sunrise is showing he goes well beyond the call of duty as an artist.
