As promised last week, here is the newly released album Colors in Disguise from the funky Colorado-based DJ trio Robotic Pirate Monkey. I know I’m a day late on this one, but I wanted to be sure I gave it a good, full listen before posting. This 4th release of theirs is 100% original from start to finish, a fresh path for them after gaining an initial following with all of their great remixes.
We’ve been anticipating this album here at WRR for a while, and it doesn’t disappoint. Colors in Disguise has great diversity to it, with some mellower tracks to go with the heavy hitters. Perhaps best of all, it is available “for free like music is meant to be,” due to RPM’s embracement of the free music model. I consider the entire thing to be worth a download & listen.
