On Saturday I sat down outside of the Hilltop Arena and enjoyed Rusko’s full set, which happened to be one of the best all weekend. He put on a dubstep dj showmanship clinic with all new original music that was absolutely mental. New original music that sounds less like what you’re used to hearing from the madman, and more like a hybrid of classic rave and dubstep.
Rusko has never been one to shy away about his habits having recently told DJ Mag,
One day I took Rohypnol, the date-rape drug. I date-raped myself, and made a track, Dirty Sexy Money. I’m at this stage now, I’m drinking a bottle of vodka a night, enjoying drugs for what they are, and not being shy about it. This album wouldn’t sound as good as it does if I wasn’t taking a fuck-load of drugs.
