Not much is known about the mysterious figure who calls himself Sad Eye. Listed on his Facebook page as a “depressed producer from Sweden,” whoever he is, he is a huge hit on Spotify – his track come up has accumulated over 15 million streams.
Despite his “About” description, his music is far from depressing as his latest single is a musically joyous number, with featuring a few friends to lighten the mood even more. Collaborating with Ted Nights and the curiously named outfit Swedish Red Elephant, “Chemistry” is a trumpet-laden, piano-strewn bouncy slice of dance pop. Almost dangerously uplifting, this track is sure to catch you out with its infectiousness.
