Salvatore Ganacci makes his glorious debut on MDLBeast with the single, ‘Fight Dirty.’ This disco deep house beat is 80’s infused with an anime-influenced music video to boot. It follows up Ganacci’s previous drops ‘Step-Grandma,’ ‘Boycycle’ EP, and ‘Horse;’ the latter two released on Skrillex’s OWSLA label. Subsequently, Ganacci’s enthralling music video follows the journey of a young fighter who is initially thrown out of a bar in the opening sequence.
Through the help and hindrance of a giant hand-like character, the fighter in the video embarks on a training odyssey to reach their ultimate hero form — in order to face off against Salvatore of the Ganacci gang in a final showdown between master and protégé. Additionally each crescendo and decrescendo perfectly corresponds to the movement unfolding on screen, serving as an epic soundtrack to the producer’s animated adventure. “Inspired by the Japanese composer Toshiyuki Kimori’s record “Dirty Fight,” I wanted to transform the energy from classic Anime films and soundtracks to my own unique soundscape and visual world. The music video was inspired by classic films like ‘Cowboy Bebop’ and ‘Fist of the North Star’ and features cameo appearances from several characters from my own sketches and previous music videos.” – Salvatore Ganacci
