The Brooklyn based trio Savoy is set to return to their home state of Colorado this Saturday to headline Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks Amphitheater. In celebration of this monumental homecoming, the group has released “Colorado Mix”, an hour long continuous mix of house music from all over the spectrum. From Savoy’s own edgy rock-inspired house music to classic artists such as Eric Prydz, this mix is sure to please diehard fans of house and newcomers alike.
I really love Savoy’s ability to merge genres and make their sound extremely unique. With elements of pure 4/4 house, electro, dubstep, trance and more, this mix leaves little to be desired. If you’ve yet to catch Savoy live yet, make it a priority; their incredible music expertise is only matched by their extraordinary use of lights and lasers in live performances, making them a must-see for dance music fans. If your in eastern Colorado this weekend, Global Dance Festival tickets are still on sale.
By the way… be on the lookout for this upcoming collaboration… epic is an understatement.
