Look around. All you see is thousands of unique individuals forming a mass crowd of one. A brilliant spectacle of a dance floor filled with phantom white. The individuality is stripped the moment you walk through the door – every soul has chosen to commit to a greater cause, just as you have. No furry boots or vibrant colors, Sensation‘s goal is to unify the crowd as one, visually and intra-personally. A feat typical festivals in America, or even the world for that matter, cannot provide. Sensations’ brand takes pride in creating the experience for you, rather than leaving it up to your imagination.
About Sensation ‘Innerspace’
Sensation began in Amsterdam in 2000, by an organization called ID&T. For anyone doubting production value, ID&T is also responsible for creating Tomorrowland, arguably the greatest festival in the world. Sensation strives to become the best event possible by remaining on the cutting edge of music. Sensation America will take place on October 26 & 27 at The Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY for the first time ever on US soil.

Saturday’s lineup boasts the most exciting of the two day event. With another appearance from Fedde Le Grand, support includes tech house staple Danny Tenaglia as well as a much anticipated Mark Knight set. Knight tends to stay in Europe and I can’t recall the last time he was in New York. Personally, I am interested to see how the visual experience plays into these artists sets, and how the driven experience manipulates the energy of the night.
