Seven Lions and Illenium to be Hosted by The Playground at London’s Electric Brixton

London’s Electric Brixton will see The Playground launch their next event featuring Owsla Records’ Seven Lions and the night will also see a debut UK performance of renowned Flume remixer, Illenium. Trolley Snatcha and STENCHMAN will start the night off on the Friday 12th May.

As the headline act, Seven Lions have reached the heights of success under the OWSLA label and his debut EP, Days to Come, reached number two on the iTunes Dance chart. Californian Jeff Montalvo then released his next EP, Worlds Apart, on Republic Records’ dance imprint Casablanca. Featuring pop superstars like Ellie Goulding and Tove Lo, Worlds Apart debuted at number one and title track was featured in Billboard’s Top 10 Electronic/Dance Songs of 2014. According to Billboard, Montalvo ‘continues to champion [dubstep’s] melodic potential’.

Illenium has also gained support from Billboard and many other publications. Illenium has appeared at Lollapalooza, Mysteryland, Summer Set Music Festival, Paradiso, Decadence performing alongside Bassnectar, Jack U, Deadmau5, Tiesto and many more. Illenium also earned himself a number one spot on the iTunes Electronic Album Chart in USA, Canada, UK, a number six on the Electronic Albums Billboard Chart for his debut artist album ‘Ashes’.
