The many of many talents Seven Lions, aka Jeff Montalvo, has teamed up with one of the many rising stars of Anjunabeats Jason Ross along with vocals supported by MUTEMATH’s Paul Meany for one of the best uplifting tracks of 2017 so far. Many have been waiting anxiously for this track since ABGT200 and now it’s time to start off the new year with smile.
Jeff had to say about working on the track with Jason:
This collab with Jason was probably one of the quickest and smoothest I’ve ever worked on. It started out with a really simple piano melody that you hear in the middle and then we just started building on it over a few weeks. All through email but we would be working on it at the same time and constantly sending updates. I think it was a really fun collab, really excited about how it turned out.
And Jason clearly felt the same way:
It was amazing to see how quickly the rest of track took shape working with Jeff was a breeze and felt completely natural. We really trusted each-other’s creative sense and just built on idea after idea. We knew at the start that we wanted a powerful track that displayed both of our styles, and we think we did just that.
