Seven Lions teams up with progressive house act Myon and Shane 54 to produce this beautiful blend of house and dubstep, entitled “Strangers” featuring the angelic vocals of Tove Lo. The song enters a progresive-house build, with a solid drum beat leading to a smooth bridge with delicate synths and Lo’s vocals. It slowly comes, then finally reaches its peak with a Seven Lions signature “trancestep” drop and vocal chopping. The end even features a drop into some deep bass that would make an entire dancefloor come alive. This song is a really unique blend of house, trance, and dubstep, and I’m happy to see Seven Lions and Shane and Myon 54 both stepping out of their regular comfort zones a bit.
