Things are really starting to get real. We’re about two weeks away from Shaky Beats Festival at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia with hotels booked, and afterparties to boot. You (should) have your full schedule for each day planned out and your rave clothes ready, but we wanted to throw a little wrench into your plans, and convince you to check out one more artist if they’re not already on your schedule. ARMNHMR is a trap/future bass/any damn genre they want, duo out of Orange County, California. Absolutely blowing up in the last year and a half, they’re on an incredibly fast rise and still leaving smoke in their wake as the traction grows. Playing both weekends this year at Coachella, opening for The Chainsmokers, as well as crushing an official remix of their track Inside Out and much more. We’re going to crack into some of our favorite tracks, and hopefully get you onto the bullet-hype-train that is much deserved right now for ARMNHMR.
The duo recently dropped a Too Future mix that is straight up fire. Too Future has been a great outlet for a lot of up-and-comers to showcase their talents and mixes to the world, with some of the biggest names in the game. They’ve hosted mixes for acts like Sweater Beats, CRNKN, Manilla Killa, JayKode, Hotel Garuda, Prince Fox and many more. Their mix should give you a great idea what to expect from their set which we definitely will not be missing.
They’ve also recently released their remix of Adventure Club’s track “Breathe”. A future bass masterpiece melodically charged, leaving intact the original gorgeous lyrics from SONDAR, and picking the track up a notch.
Next up is an original track ARMNHMR did with DEVAULT titled Rain. It starts on slow feelsy piano melody, and drops into an all out trap and melodic infused banger. Cue fireworks.
And just as a bonus track we wanted to throw in k?d’s incredible remix of ARMNHMR’s original track “Fallen” ft. Desiree Dawson. k?d is also a huge up-and-comer, and seeing these two artists come together and share tracks like this is a beautiful thing.
